 Post subject: SNDM and authentification

We were using SNDM for many years with the SNDM -> SMTP(ISP) -> Internet configuration.

Now our ISP has changed from 'POP before SMTP' to 'SMTP authentification'. In order of that the SNDM command fails with a reject from the ISP's server.

Any suggest how we can solve this problem?

Thank you for using SNDM.

I don't have a plan to implement SMTP AUTH, because:

- My mail server does not require authentication. So I don't have chance to test SMTP-AUTH.
- It is not so easy to implement "SMTP Authentication" defined by RFC2554, the full auth mechanism (AUTH-LOGIN, AUTH PLAIN, AUTH CRAM-MD5, etc).
- I'm very busy on my regular work and private things.

So it is a very good chance for you to contribute to the community! :wink:
