I have been looking for a tool to convert *AFPDS with OVERLAY to PDF and while browsing internet I found this site.

My questions are:

Does CVTSPLFPDF work to convert Spool file with *AFPDS device and OVERLAY added to it?

Where can I download it from - a link would be helpful.

I am on V5R4.

I don't know much about CVTSPLFPDF... :(
Is it a tool at http://www.easy400.net/mmailh/othutils.htm#cvtsplfpdf ?

If it is based on my spl2stmf and tiff2pdf, it should do the task, I suppose.

I tried SPL2STMF and crashed:

API QwpzHostPrintTransform failed : CPF6DF9

Message Text: Transformed data buffer too small.

Spool file size: 32K

Buffer Length in the program is 200000.


Any fix for this?

Other people have reported similar problems.
Please read the thread "PROBLEM WITH SPL2STMF" or "Error running SPL2STMF" or "SPL2STMF error CPF6DF9 buffer too small" in this BBS.
